"I really enjoyed my lunch here. My friends and I stopped here for lunch while we were in La Rochelle. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious, my friends ordered fish and chips and burgers and they love them. Great wine list. I recommend stopping here for lunch, coffee or just a beer and watch people going about thier lives. Next time I'm in La Rochelle I'm stopping in for lunch again."

"Le Bellem, a lovely restaurant with gorgeous fish and chips. The scenery is really nice, the staff was working very hard but still managed to smile and be very friendly. As mentioned above we had the fish and chips and especially the Tartare sauce was homemade and very nice! All in all it was worth going to this restaurant for lunch."

"Fantastic service with above average food at a great price. The standout here is the service. Really friendly and personable. We weren’t pleased with the steak so they gave us two free espressos which was a nice touch. The food, for the most part, was excellent. Really great flavours and fresh tasting. Not too over seasoned. The quality of the steak though really wasn’t good, but at 20 euros for 3 course set menu, can’t complain too much!"
